This session will provide an overview of the global developments in transport decarbonisation, emerging technologies and innovations. The session will explore the current technology, while looking ahead with insights into the long-distance travel technologies we are likely to see in the next five to ten years.
It will also consider the role of international partnerships and government in accelerating the transition towards a low carbon transport system. Panellists will profile some of the innovation driving this transition and discuss the best pathway for transport decarbonisation. Please note:
- A bus will be arranged for delegates joining the field trip to transport you from Auckland to Taupō on Thursday evening.
- This programme is based on the current COVID-response announced by the New Zealand government (as at 26/10/2022). If there are changes to the COVID-response, attendees will be notified in advance.
